Vinny’s Gang were led to their 13 point victory by a 26 point effort from Aaron Rodgers, who got by the Carolina Panthers defense for 298 passing yards and 3 passing tds in addition to 26 rushing yards. With this performance, Rodgers was the number 2 ranked quarterback for week 13. They also got help from a 19 point effort from Adrian Peterson, who beat the Chicago Bears defense for 131 rushing yards and 1 rushing td.
“This win is for all the fans,” Vinny’s Gang coach Jon Steffan said.
Twee Twerps were helped out in a losing cause by a 23 point effort from Jay Cutler, who tore apart the New York Jets defense for 357 passing yards and 2 passing tds. With this performance, Cutler was the number 4 ranked quarterback for week 13. They also got help from a 13 point effort from the Tennessee Titans Defensive Team.
“We weren’t mentally prepared,” Twee Twerps coach Bob Filipy said.
Compounding the issue, Twee Twerps could have scored 94 points and gotten the win with their best lineup, but Bob Filipy left key players like Antonio Bryant and his corresponding 13 points on the bench.
This brings the record for Vinny’s Gang to 5-10-1, and drops Twee Twerps to a record of 10-5-1.
