With this performance, Manning was the number 2 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 3. They also got help from a 16 point effort from Brent Celek, who beat the Kansas City Chiefs defense for 104 receiving yards and 1 receiving td.

The Wondrful Gazonks were helped out in a losing cause by a 22 point effort from Ben Roethlisberger, who got by the Cincinnati Bengals defense for 276 passing yards and 1 passing td in addition to 3 rushing yards. They also got help from a 18 point effort from Willis McGahee, who snuck past the Cleveland Browns defense for 67 rushing yards and 2 rushing tds.
“They own us,” The Wondrful Gazonks coach Josh Vadnais said.
Causing further embarrassment, The Wondrful Gazonks could have scored 101 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Josh Vadnais left key players like Kevin Walter and his corresponding 16 points on the bench.
The Wondrful Gazonks drew the short straw with their schedule this week, as their point total would have resulted in a win against 11 out of 12 other potential opponents in week 3.
