Twee Twerps were led to their 6 point victory by a 26 point effort from Robert Griffin III, who beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense for 323 passing yards in addition to 43 rushing yards. They also got help from a 23 point effort from Andre Roberts, who beat the Miami Dolphins defense for 118 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs.
“I’m in a state of shock,” Twee Twerps coach Bob Filipy said.
The Hellfish were helped out in a losing cause by a 22 point effort from Michael Turner, who beat the Carolina Panthers defense for 103 rushing yards in addition to 68 receiving yards. With this performance, Turner was the number 3 ranked running back for week 4. They also got help from a 18 point effort from the Chicago Bears Defensive Team.
“The best team won today,” The Hellfish coach Wade Iverson said.
This brings the record for Twee Twerps to 1-3, and drops The Hellfish to a record of 1-3.
Coming up in week 5, the 1-3 Elvis Impersonators are at Twee Twerps, where Twee Twerps are an early 1.8-point underdog, while the 4-0 The Wondrful Gazonks are at The Hellfish, where The Hellfish are an early 9.5-point favorite.
