Elvis Impersonators were led to their 3 point victory by a 24 point effort from Jordan Cameron, who snuck past the Minnesota Vikings defense for 66 receiving yards and 3 receiving TDs. With this performance, Cameron was the number 2 ranked tight end for week 3. They also got help from a 23 point effort from Jamaal Charles, who got by the Philadelphia Eagles defense for 92 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 80 receiving yards.
“I’m really proud of the way our guys hung in there,” Elvis Impersonators coach Brandon Mannie said.
Greasy Weasels were helped out in a losing cause by a 25 point effort from Jimmy Graham, who beat the Arizona Cardinals defense for 134 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs. With this performance, Graham was the number 1 ranked tight end for week 3. They also got help from a 22 point effort from Michael Vick, who got by the Kansas City Chiefs defense for 201 passing yards and 1 passing TD in addition to 99 rushing yards.
“They out-coached us,” Greasy Weasels coach Mason Mannie said.
Causing further embarrassment, Greasy Weasels could have scored 93 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Mason Mannie left key players like Ronnie Hillman and his corresponding 13 points on the bench.
This brings the record for Elvis Impersonators to 1-2, and drops Greasy Weasels to a record of 2-1.
Coming up in week 4, Greasy Weasels are at the 1-2 Z-Squad, where Z-Squad are an early 22.0-point underdog, while Elvis Impersonators are at the 1-2 The Hellfish, where The Hellfish are an early 24.2-point underdog.
