The Hellfish were led to their 3 point victory by a 25 point effort from Davante Adams, who beat the San Francisco 49ers defense for 132 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs. With this performance, Adams was the number 3 ranked wide receiver for week 6. They also got help from a 23 point effort from Carson Wentz, who got by the New York Giants defense for 278 passing yards and 3 passing TDs in addition to 14 rushing yards.
“We’ve got the greatest fans in the world,” The Hellfish coach Wade Iverson said.
Bad Attitudes were helped out in a losing cause by a 26 point effort from Tom Brady, who beat the Kansas City Chiefs defense for 340 passing yards and 1 passing TD in addition to 2 rushing yards. They also got help from a 13 point effort from JuJu Smith-Schuster, who beat the Cincinnati Bengals defense for 111 receiving yards.
“We came up a little short,” Bad Attitudes coach Steve Spickenreuther said.
Compounding the issue, Bad Attitudes could have scored 82 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Steve Spickenreuther left key players like Chris Godwin and his corresponding 11 points on the bench.
The Hellfish took advantage of their schedule this week, as their point total would have gone for a loss against 9 out of 11 other potential opponents in week 6.
This brings the record for The Hellfish to 3-3, and drops Bad Attitudes to a record of 3-3.
