The Hellfish were led to their 1.2 point victory by a 27.5 point effort from T.Y. Hilton, who beat the Tennessee Titans defense for 155 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs. With this performance, Hilton was the number 2 ranked wide receiver for week 11. They also got help from a 16.6 point effort from Davante Adams, who beat the Seattle Seahawks defense for 166 receiving yards.
“The important thing is that we won,” The Hellfish coach Wade Iverson said.
October Hunters were helped out in a losing cause by a 33.2 point effort from Saquon Barkley, who beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense for 142 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs in addition to 10 receiving yards. With this performance, Barkley was the number 3 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 11. They also got help from a 20.6 point effort from Kirk Cousins, who got by the Chicago Bears defense for 262 passing yards and 2 passing TDs in addition to 5 rushing yards.
“You’ve got to hand it to them,” October Hunters coach Orion Bell said.
Causing further embarrassment, October Hunters could have scored 108 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Orion Bell left key players like Kenny Golladay and his corresponding 17 points on the bench.
This brings the record for The Hellfish to 7-4, and drops October Hunters to a record of 4-7.
Coming up in week 12, October Hunters are at the 3-8 Hot Buttered Moose Nuts, where Hot Buttered Moose Nuts are an early 10.1-point underdog, while The Hellfish are at the 7-3-1 Z-Squad, where Z-Squad are an early 13.2-point favorite.
