(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources – Dec 8, 2020) In a week 13 UFFLE intra-divisional matchup, the 4-9 October Hunters beat a tough 9-4 Pickled Harrons team by a score of 70 to 62, silencing a partisan crowd of 70,246.
October Hunters were led to their 8 point victory by a 34 point effort from Derek Carr, who tore apart the New York Jets defense for 381 passing yards and 3 passing TDs in addition to 5 rushing yards. With this performance, Carr was the number 1 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 13. In addition, Carr entered the UFFLE Hall Of Fame with this performance as the 19th-ranked individual weekly player score in league history. They also got help from a 16 point effort from Tim Patrick, who snuck past the Kansas City Chiefs defense for 44 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs.
“We’re not going to rest on our laurels,” October Hunters coach Orion Bell said.
Pickled Harrons were helped out in a losing cause by a 18 point effort from Kyler Murray, who snuck past the Los Angeles Rams defense for 173 passing yards and 3 passing TDs in addition to 15 rushing yards. They also got help from a 17 point effort from Dalvin Cook, who beat the Jacksonville Jaguars defense for 120 rushing yards in addition to 59 receiving yards.
“They stepped up and made the plays,” Pickled Harrons coach Cooper Harron said.
Adding salt to the wound, Pickled Harrons could have scored 113 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Cooper Harron left key players like Matthew Stafford and his corresponding 29 points on the bench.
October Hunters took advantage of their schedule this week, as their point total would have gone for a loss against 8 out of 10 other potential opponents in week 13.
This brings the record for October Hunters to 4-9, and drops Pickled Harrons to a record of 9-4.
