Grid Iron Bullies were helped out in a losing cause by a 31.50 point effort from Patrick Mahomes, who got by the Philadelphia Eagles defense for 278 passing yards and 5 passing TDs in addition to 26 rushing yards. With this performance, Mahomes was the number 5 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 4. They also got help from a 28.00 point effort from Austin Ekeler, who beat the Las Vegas Raiders defense for 117 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 28 receiving yards.
“The final score is the only statistic that matters,” Grid Iron Bullies coach Eric Bell said.
Compounding the issue, Grid Iron Bullies could have scored 144.20 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Eric Bell left key players like Corey Davis and his corresponding 19.10 points on the bench.
Grid Iron Bullies drew the short straw with their schedule this week, as their point total would have resulted in a win against 12 out of 12 other potential opponents in week 4.
This brings the record for Pickled Harrons to 2-2, and drops Grid Iron Bullies to a record of 2-2.
