Squishy Fuzz were led to their 11.80 point victory by a 24.30 point effort from Tee Higgins, who beat the Los Angeles Chargers defense for 138 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD. With this performance, Higgins was the number 3 ranked wide receiver for week 13. They also got help from a 23.95 point effort from Matthew Stafford, who got by the Jacksonville Jaguars defense for 295 passing yards and 3 passing TDs in addition to 2 rushing yards.
“This team shows a lot of character,” Squishy Fuzz coach Scott Stanina said.
The Hellfish were helped out in a losing cause by a 25.50 point effort from Dallas Goedert, who beat the New York Jets defense for 105 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs. With this performance, Goedert was the number 2 ranked tight end for week 13. They also got help from a 19.05 point effort from Russell Wilson, who got by the San Francisco 49ers defense for 231 passing yards and 2 passing TDs in addition to 15 rushing yards.
“The final score is the only statistic that matters,” The Hellfish coach Wade Iverson said.
The Hellfish drew the short straw with their schedule this week, as their point total would have resulted in a win against 10 out of 12 other potential opponents in week 13.
This brings the record for Squishy Fuzz to 8-5, and drops The Hellfish to a record of 2-11.
