Vinny’s Gang (84.2) at Squishy Fuzz (80.9)
(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources – Dec 19, 2022) In a week 15 UFFLE playoff showdown, the 8-6 Vinny’s Gang squeaked by a tough 9-5 Squishy Fuzz team by a score of 84.20 to 80.90, silencing a partisan crowd of 69,461.
Vinny’s Gang were led to their 3.30 point victory by a 22.80 point effort from Christian McCaffrey, who beat the Seattle Seahawks defense for 108 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 30 receiving yards. With this performance, McCaffrey was the number 5 ranked running back for week 15. They also got help from a 16.20 point effort from CeeDee Lamb, who beat the Jacksonville Jaguars defense for 126 receiving yards in addition to 1 rushing yards.
“Our fans were the 12th man today,” Vinny’s Gang coach Jon Steffan said.
Squishy Fuzz were helped out in a losing cause by a 23.10 point effort from Justin Fields, who snuck past the Philadelphia Eagles defense for 152 passing yards and 2 passing TDs in addition to 95 rushing yards. They also got help from a 18.30 point effort from Chris Godwin, who got by the Cincinnati Bengals defense for 83 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.
“I don’t want to point fingers,” Squishy Fuzz coach Scott Stanina said.
Compounding the issue, Squishy Fuzz could have scored 96.60 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Scott Stanina left key players like Najee Harris and his corresponding 14.60 points on the bench.
Coming up in week 16, Vinny’s Gang are at the 13-1 The Undergarments, where The Undergarments are an early 9.3-point favorite.
