The Undergarments were led to their 6.85 point victory by a 29.40 point effort from T.J. Hockenson, who beat the New York Giants defense for 109 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs. With this performance, Hockenson was the number 4 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 16. They also got help from a 25.70 point effort from Josh Allen, who snuck past the Chicago Bears defense for 172 passing yards and 2 passing TDs in addition to 41 rushing yards.
“We came to play,” The Undergarments coach Eric Overgaard said.
Vinny’s Gang were helped out in a losing cause by a 30.45 point effort from Dak Prescott, who beat the Philadelphia Eagles defense for 347 passing yards and 3 passing TDs in addition to 41 rushing yards. With this performance, Prescott was the number 2 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 16. They also got help from a 29.00 point effort from CeeDee Lamb, who beat the Philadelphia Eagles defense for 120 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs.
“Our defense didn’t show up today,” Vinny’s Gang coach Jon Steffan said.
Adding salt to the wound, Vinny’s Gang could have scored 132.35 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Jon Steffan left key players like Jakobi Meyers and his corresponding 17.30 points on the bench.
Coming up in week 17, The Undergarments are at the 9-5 Bad Attitudes, where Bad Attitudes are an early 10.7-point underdog.
