The Hellfish were led to their 1.10 point victory by a 17.80 point effort from Breece Hall, who snuck past the Philadelphia Eagles defense for 39 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 54 receiving yards. With this performance, Hall was the number 5 ranked running back for week 6. They also got help from a 16.90 point effort from Travis Kelce, who beat the Denver Broncos defense for 124 receiving yards.
“This win was no fluke,” The Hellfish coach Wade Iverson said.
Greasy Weasels were helped out in a losing cause by a 18.15 point effort from Geno Smith, who beat the Cincinnati Bengals defense for 323 passing yards in addition to 20 rushing yards. They also got help from a 15.40 point effort from Michael Pittman, who beat the Jacksonville Jaguars defense for 109 receiving yards.
“The final score is the only statistic that matters,” Greasy Weasels coach Mason Mannie said.
Adding salt to the wound, Greasy Weasels could have scored 90.75 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Mason Mannie left key players like Drake London and his corresponding 17.00 points on the bench.
This brings the record for The Hellfish to 3-3, and drops Greasy Weasels to a record of 4-2.
