They also got help from a 22.10 point effort from Stefon Diggs, who beat the Jacksonville Jaguars defense for 121 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.
“It hasn’t sunk in yet,” Greasy Weasels coach Mason Mannie said.
Hot Buttered Moose Nuts were helped out in a losing cause by a 28.10 point effort from Tyreek Hill, who tore apart the New York Giants defense for 181 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD. With this performance, Hill was the number 3 ranked wide receiver for week 5. They also got help from a 22.20 point effort from Adam Thielen, who beat the Detroit Lions defense for 107 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.
“We didn’t get the big breaks today,” Hot Buttered Moose Nuts coach Jeff Griffith said.
Compounding the issue, Hot Buttered Moose Nuts could have scored 124.70 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Jeff Griffith left key players like Josh Reynolds and his corresponding 15.60 points on the bench.
Hot Buttered Moose Nuts drew the short straw with their schedule this week, as their point total would have resulted in a win against 11 out of 12 other potential opponents in week 5.
