Elvis Impersonators were helped out in a losing cause by a 33.40 point effort from CeeDee Lamb, who tore apart the Houston Texans defense for 189 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD. With this performance, Lamb was the number 2 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 4. They also got help from a 27.20 point effort from Bijan Robinson, who beat the New Orleans Saints defense for 145 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs in addition to 2 receiving yards.
“We came up a little short,” Elvis Impersonators coach Brandon Mannie said.
Adding salt to the wound, Elvis Impersonators could have scored 159.20 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Brandon Mannie left key players like Emanuel Wilson and his corresponding 25.50 points on the bench.
Elvis Impersonators drew the short straw with their schedule this week, as their point total would have resulted in a win against 12 out of 12 other potential opponents in week 4.
This brings the record for Pickled Harrons to 1-3, and drops Elvis Impersonators to a record of 2-2.
