(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources – Sep 24, 2018) In a week 3 UFFLE rivalry, Grid Iron Bullies squeaked by a tough Vinny’s Gang team by a score of 99 to 95, silencing a partisan crowd of 74,773.

Grid Iron Bullies were led to their 4 point victory by a 21 point effort from Carlos Hyde, who got by the New York Jets defense for 98 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs in addition to 5 receiving yards. With this performance, Hyde was the number 3 ranked running back for week 3. They also got help from a 19 point effort from Alex Smith, who got by the Green Bay Packers defense for 220 passing yards and 2 passing TDs in addition to 20 rushing yards.

“We came to play,” Grid Iron Bullies coach Eric Bell said.

Vinny’s Gang were helped out in a losing cause by a 31 point effort from Ryan Fitzpatrick, who tore apart the Pittsburgh Steelers defense for 411 passing yards and 3 passing TDs in addition to 27 rushing yards. With this performance, Fitzpatrick was the number 4 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 3. They also got help from a 18 point effort from Alvin Kamara, who snuck past the Atlanta Falcons defense for 66 rushing yards in addition to 124 receiving yards.

“We only have to look in the mirror,” Vinny’s Gang coach Jon Steffan said.

Compounding the issue, Vinny’s Gang could have scored 103 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Jon Steffan left key players like Alex Collins and his corresponding 12 points on the bench.

Vinny’s Gang drew the short straw with their schedule this week, as their point total would have resulted in a win against 9 out of 11 other potential opponents in week 3.

This brings the record for Grid Iron Bullies to 1-2, and drops Vinny’s Gang to a record of 1-2.

October Hunters were led to their 1 point victory by a 34 point effort from Kirk Cousins, who tore apart the Green Bay Packers defense for 425 passing yards and 4 passing TDs in addition to 5 rushing yards. With this performance, Cousins was the number 3 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 2. They also got help from a 21 point effort from Matt Breida, who beat the Detroit Lions defense for 138 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 21 receiving yards.

“I’m in a state of shock,” October Hunters coach Orion Bell said.

Vinny’s Gang were helped out in a losing cause by a 25 point effort from Deshaun Watson, who beat the Tennessee Titans defense for 310 passing yards and 2 passing TDs in addition to 44 rushing yards.
