Hot Buttered Moose Nuts were led to their 4 point victory by a 30 point effort from LeSean McCoy, who beat the Detroit Lions defense for 120 rushing yards and 3 rushing TDs in addition to 8 receiving yards. With this performance, McCoy was the number 4 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 2. They also got help from a 21 point effort from Peyton Manning, who got by the New York Giants defense for 255 passing yards and 3 passing TDs.

“They gave us a big scare,” Hot Buttered Moose Nuts coach Jeremy Griffith said.

Greasy Weasels were helped out in a losing cause by a 33 point effort from Matt Schaub, who tore apart the Washington Redskins defense for 497 passing yards and 3 passing TDs in addition to 2 rushing yards. With this performance, Schaub was the number 3 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 2. They also got help from a 21 point effort from Andre Johnson, who beat the Washington Redskins defense for 158 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.

“They own us,” Greasy Weasels coach Mason Mannie said.

Adding salt to the wound, Greasy Weasels could have scored 117 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Mason Mannie left key players like Mike Nugent and his corresponding 16 points on the bench.

Greasy Weasels drew the short straw with their schedule this week, as their point total would have resulted in a win against 10 out of 12 other potential opponents in week 2.

This brings the record for Hot Buttered Moose Nuts to 2-0, and drops Greasy Weasels to a record of 1-1.

Twee Twerps were led to their 1 point victory by a 20 point effort from Philip Rivers, who got by the Kansas City Chiefs defense for 298 passing yards and 2 passing TDs in addition to 5 rushing yards. They also got help from a 15 point effort from Jahvid Best, who snuck past the Chicago Bears defense for 20 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs in addition to 16 receiving yards.

“Our fans were the 12th man today,” Twee Twerps coach Bob Filipy said.

The Wondrful Gazonks were helped out in a losing cause by a 15 point effort from Tim Hightower, who snuck past the St. Louis Rams defense for 54 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 40 receiving yards. They also got help from a 14 point effort from Ronnie Brown, who snuck past the Buffalo Bills defense for 65 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 20 receiving yards.

“I tip my hat to them,” The Wondrful Gazonks coach Josh Vadnais said.

Causing further embarrassment, The Wondrful Gazonks could have scored 88 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Josh Vadnais left key players like the New England Patriots Defensive Team and his corresponding 15 points on the bench.

This brings the record for Twee Twerps to 1-0, and drops The Wondrful Gazonks to a record of 0-1.
