The Hellfish vs. Greasy Weasels
This is the first of four straight divisional games for the Greasy Weasels. These are key games if the Greasy Weasels are to win the Western Division. The Hellfish are all but out of the playoff race, but they still have a chance to finish above .500. The Greasy Weasels lead the series 10-3.

San Quentin Saints vs. The Slim Shaggys
The San Quentin Saints haven’t had the best season, but they are still fighting. They will be in a first play tie in the Eastern Division if the Squishy Fuzz and The Undergarments both lose this week. The Slim Shaggys are ready to play the spoiler though. The San Quentin Saints lead the series 3-1.

Elvis Impersonators vs. Vinny’s Gang
This is a big divisional game for the Elvis Impersonators. If they lose this week, their playoff chances won’t look very good. Vinny’s Gang need the win to stay in a first place tie and possibly move into first place all alone. The Elvis Impersonators lead the series 12-6-1.

Hot Buttered Moose Nuts vs. The Wondrful Gazonks
Both of these teams are looking up in the Central Division. The Division might be out of reach for the Hot Buttered Moose Nuts, but if they can put together a little winning streak, they may have a shot at a Wild Card spot. The Hot Buttered Moose Nuts lead the series 8-7.

Z-Squad vs. Twee Twerps
This is the biggest matchup of the week. The winner will be in first place in the Central Division. Z-Squad won the first matchup, but since the Twee Twerps had a tie game, the tie-breaker will probably not come into play. Z-Squad lead the series 7-4.

Bad Attitudes vs. Squishy Fuzz
The Squishy Fuzz need a win if they are to stay in first place in the Eastern Division. The Bad Attitudes may only be 4-6, but still have a shot. This is a must win game for them. A win and they are only one game behind the Squishy Fuzz. A loss and they might as well start thinking about next season’s keepers. The Bad Attitudes lead the series 8-4.

Grid Iron Bullies vs. The Undergarments
The Undergarments need a win to stay in a first place tie, or possible take over first place if the Squishy Fuzz lose. The season is all but over for the Grid Iron Bullies, but that isn’t going to stop them from playing the spoiler. The Undergarments lead the series 8-3.

The Slim Shaggys 92 Elvis Impersonators 68
Drew Brees lit it up as The Slim Shaggys pulled out the upset. The Slim Shaggys may not have a great shot at making the playoffs, but that isn’t going to stop them from playing the part of a spoiler. This loss is going to make it tough for the Elvis Impersonators to make the playoffs.

Vinny’s Gang 119 Grid Iron Bullies 114
The Grid Iron Bullies had a great game. Sadly they lost while scoring 114 points. Adrian Peterson was just too much. His 48 points is tied for second most ever in a regular season game.

Z-Squad 68 The Wondrful Gazonks 67
Z-Squad got just enough from Willie Parker on Monday night to squeak out this surprisingly close game. They now have a half game lead in the Central Division.

Squishy Fuzz 76 Greasy Weasels 71
Squishy Fuzz squeaked out the win to remain in a first place tie in the Eastern Division. It was a tough bye week for the Greasy Weasels, and the loss puts them in a first place tie in the Western Division.

The Undergarments 103 Twee Twerps 51
Jamal Lewis didn’t get many yards, but his four touchdowns help The Undergarments crack the century mark and get this win. With the win The Undergarments remain in a first place tie in the Eastern Division. With the loss the Twee Twerps dropped to second place in the Central Division.

Bad Attitudes 104 Hot Buttered Moose Nuts 84
No bad luck this week for the Bad Attitudes. They cracked the century mark and beat a high scoring Hot Buttered Moose Nuts team. The Bad Attitudes are only two games back in the Eastern Division and need to get a little run going if they are to make the playoffs.

San Quentin Saints 99 The Hellfish 50
With this win the San Quentin Saints are back to .500 and just one game out of first place in the Eastern Division. The Hellfish fall to 3-7 and are in the same boat as The Slim Shaggys in the Western Division.

Week 9 Matchups

Elvis Impersonators vs. The Slim Shaggys
The Elvis Impersonators have lost two straight games, and can’t afford to lose too many more if they want to make the playoffs. The Elvis Impersonators lead the series 11-5-1.

Grid Iron Bullies vs. Vinny’s Gang
Vinny’s Gang dropped out of their first play tie with last weeks loss. A win this week could get them back into a first place tie. The Grid Iron Bullies only have a 3-6 record, but remain only two games out of first. Vinny’s Gang lead the series 2-1-1.

The Wondrful Gazonks vs. Z-Squad
This is a big for The Wondrful Gazonks. They are three games back in the Central Division and could gain some ground with this divisional win this week. A loss by The Wondrful Gazonk would all but bury them in the Central Division. Z-Squad lead the series 13-3.

Greasy Weasels vs. Squishy Fuzz 
This is a matchup between two first place teams that each have a team right behind them in the standings. Greasy Weasels lead the series 8-1-1.

Twee Twerps vs. The Undergarments
The Twee Twerps are still hanging onto their half game lead in the Central Division. The Undergarments need a win to stay tied or even take over the lead in the Eastern Division. The Twee Twerps lead the series 6-1.

Hot Buttered Moose Nuts vs. Bad Attitudes
The Hot Buttered Moose Nuts are having their best season in recent memory. They are 5-4 and only a game and a half out if first place. The Bad Attitudes are having one of the unluckiest seasons in recent memory. They are the top scoring team in the Eastern Division, yet they are in last place. Bad Attitudes lead the series 4-2-1.

The Hellfish vs. San Quentin Saints
The San Quentin Saints are only a game out of first despite only having a 4-5 record. The Hellfish are struggling in the Western Division with a 3-6 record they are four games back. The Hellfish lead the series 4-1.

The Hot Buttered Moose Nuts can thank The Hellfish for this win. A couple of boneheaded bye weeks starts cost The Hellfish this game.

Twee Twerps 81 Bad Attitudes 80
Selvin Young came up just a couple points short on Monday night from pulling out the upset. The Twee Twerps keep their half game lead in the Central Division with this win.

Z-Squad are on a roll with their fourth straight win and the high score this week, but still remain a half game behind the Twee Twerps in the Central Division. The Squishy Fuzz continue to slip. They are now in a first place tie with The Undergarments in the Eastern Division.

The San Quentin Saints may only be 4-5, but with this win they are only one game out of first place. The Grid Iron Bullies fell to 3-6, but are still only two games out of first place.

The Wondrful Gazonks are in desperate need of a win having lost their last three games. The Elvis Impersonators can’t afford to lose too many more games either. They have the top two teams in the league to try and catch in their division. The Wondrful Gazonks have never beaten the Elvis Impersonators. The Elvis Impersonators are 7-0 verses The Wondrful Gazonks.

Greasy Weasels vs. The Slim Shaggys
These two teams are total opposites. The Greasy Weasels started 6-0. The Slim Shaggys started 0-6. The Greasy Weasels are on a two game losing streak. The Slim Shaggys are on a two game wining streak. If The Slim Shaggys want to keep their slim playoff hopes alive, this is a must win. The Greasy Weasels lead the series 11-5.

The Undergarments vs. Vinny’s Gang
Both of these teams have a chance at moving into first place in their divisions this week. If the Greasy Weasels lose, Vinny’s Gang could be all alone in first place. If the Squishy Fuzz lose, The Undergarments could move into a first place tie. The series between these two teams is tied 3-3.

The Hellfish are 3-5 and have a tough road ahead of them if they are to move up in the Western Division. The Hot Buttered Moose Nuts have only won one more game at 4-4, but are just a game and a half out of first in their division. The Hellfish lead the series 3-2.

The Twee Twerps are off to a good start. They have the third best record in the league, but just a half game lead over Z-Squad. The Bad Attitudes are at the bottom of the Eastern Division, but still have a chance since they are in probably the worst division in the league. There is only one team with a winning record in the Eastern Division. The Twee Twerps lead the series 3-1.

Z-Squad are only a half game behind the Twee Twerps in the Central Division. Squishy Fuzz only have a one game lead over The Undergarments in the Eastern Division. Z-Squad lead the series 8-1.

San Quentin Saints vs. Grid Iron Bullies
Both of these teams are 3-5, but being that they are in the Eastern Division, they are far from out of it. They are both only two games out of first place. The San Quentin Saints lead the series 6-5.

Z-Squad didn’t need much from Reggie Wayne on Monday night, and of course he got more than enough. Z-Squad remains a half game back in the Central Division, and Elvis Impersonators fell to .500.

Vinny’s Gang won their 4th on a row and are now in a first place tie with the Greasy Weasels in the Western Division. The Hot Buttered Moose Nuts fell to 4-4, but are only a game and a half back in the Central Division.

Twee Twerps 94 The Wondrful Gazonks 54
Kenny Watson exploded for 33 points to help the Twee Twerps keep their half game lead in the Central Division. The Wondrful Gazonks missed out on their chance at gaining some ground in the Central Division and are now three games back.

Squishy Fuzz 66 San Quentin Saints 59
The Squishy Fuzz broke out of their three game slump and remain on top on the Eastern Division. The San Quentin Saints are struggling with a 3-5 record, but surprisingly they are only two games out of first place.

The Grid Iron Bullies pulled out the upset of the week. They handed the Greasy Weasels their second loss and are now only two games out of first in the Eastern Division.

The Slim Shaggys also pulled out an upset. They are still in a deep hole being four games back though. The Undergarments fell to .500, but are only a game behind the Squishy Fuzz.

Crack open the champagne. The 1998 Elvis Impersonators remain the only team to go unbeaten. Larry Johnson and Thomas Jones finally put up some good numbers for the Elvis Impersonators. Greasy Weasels had another great game, but it just wasn’t enough to win this week.

Vinny’s Gang 95 The Hellfish 68
Adrian Peterson had a huge day for Vinny’s Gang. He set a Vinny’s Gang record for most point by a running back in a game with 40. The old record was held by Barry Sanders and set back in 1997. The win puts Vinny’s Gang only one game out of first place.

Z-Squad 77 Hot Buttered Moose Nuts 56
Z-Squad got three TDs from Braylon Edwards, and knocked the Hot Buttered Moose Nuts out of first place with this win. Both teams are now just a half game behind the Twee twerps.

Maurice Jones-Drew had a huge game helping give The Slim Shaggys their first win of the season. It was a tough loss for The Wondrful Gazonks, but they are still only two games out.

Jerious Norwood had a big game Monday night lifting the San Quentin Saints to 3-4 and dropping the Bad Attitudes to 3-4. Both teams are just one game out of first place in the Eastern Division despite not having the greatest of seasons so far.

The Squishy Fuzz have struggled the last two weeks after their 4-0 start. They are still in first place, but won’t be for long if they don’t win. The Twee Twerps are only a half game out of first place and could end up in first place with a win. Twee Twerps lead the series 5-1.

The Undergarments vs. Grid Iron Bullies
The Eastern Division has been pretty competitive this season. The Undergarments are one game out of first place and the Grid Iron Bullies are only two games out if first place. The Undergarments lead the series 7-3.

Ben Watson had a huge game as The Hellfish cruised to the century mark. The Slim Shaggys are still looking for their first win.

Z-Squad 97 Twee Twerps 64
Kris Brown’s 23 points was just one point shy of tying the league record for points for a kicker in a game. These two teams are now just a half game apart from each other in the highly competitive Central Division.

Who needs running backs? The Hot Buttered Moose Nuts got the win without any points from their running backs. The Moose Nuts are hot. They have already won more games this season then the last three combined.

The Grid Iron Bullies got just enough from Jason Witten and Julius Jones on Monday night to pull out the two point victory. The loss doesn’t hurt the Bad Attitudes too much since the Squishy Fuzz also lost. The Bad Attitudes remain one game out of first place in the Eastern Division.
