Bad Attitudes were led to their 2 point victory by a 19 point effort from Drew Brees, who beat the Atlanta Falcons defense for 333 passing yards and 1 passing TD in addition to 2 rushing yards. They also got help from a 19 point effort from DeMarco Murray, who beat the San Francisco 49ers defense for 118 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 25 receiving yards.
“We weren’t going to just lie down,” Bad Attitudes coach Steve Spickenreuther said.
Hot Buttered Moose Nuts were helped out in a losing cause by a 22 point effort from Peyton Manning, who got by the Indianapolis Colts defense for 269 passing yards and 3 passing TDs. They also got help from a 16 point effort from Matt Forte, who got by the Buffalo Bills defense for 82 rushing yards in addition to 87 receiving yards.
“I take full responsibility for this loss,” Hot Buttered Moose Nuts coach Jeremy Griffith said.
Causing further embarrassment, Hot Buttered Moose Nuts could have scored 110 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Jeremy Griffith left key players like Ryan Succop and his corresponding 16 points on the bench.
This brings the record for Bad Attitudes to 1-0, and drops Hot Buttered Moose Nuts to a record of 0-1.
