San Quentin Saints (62) at Squishy Fuzz (96)

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources – Oct 27, 2008) In a week 8 UFFLE intra-divisional matchup, Squishy Fuzz embarrassed a hapless San Quentin Saints team by a score of 96 to 62, behind the support of 72,867 faithful fans.

Squishy Fuzz were led to their 34 point victory by a 26 point effort from Santana Moss, who beat the Detroit Lions defense for 140 receiving yards and 1 receiving td. With this performance, Moss was the number 2 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 8. They also got help from a 25 point effort from Drew Brees, who beat the San Diego Chargers defense for 339 passing yards and 3 passing tds.

“We weren’t going to just lie down,” Squishy Fuzz coach Scott Stanina said.

San Quentin Saints were helped out in a losing cause by a 20 point effort from Donovan McNabb, who got by the Atlanta Falcons defense for 253 passing yards in addition to 25 rushing yards. They also got help from a 11 point effort from Thomas Jones, who snuck past the Kansas City Chiefs defense for 54 rushing yards and 1 rushing td in addition to 6 receiving yards.

“We didn’t get the job done,” San Quentin Saints coach Sean Boggess said.

This brings the record for Squishy Fuzz to 7-2, and drops San Quentin Saints to a record of 6-2-1.

Bad Attitudes (85) at The Undergarments (111)

The Undergarments were led to their 26 point victory by a 23 point effort from Matt Schaub, who got by the Cincinnati Bengals defense for 280 passing yards and 3 passing tds. With this performance, Schaub was the number 6 ranked quarterback for week 8. They also got help from a 23 point effort from Roddy White, who beat the Philadelphia Eagles defense for 113 receiving yards and 2 receiving tds.

“We’re happy we could pull this one out at the end,” The Undergarments coach Eric Overgaard said.

Bad Attitudes were helped out in a losing cause by a 21 point effort from Dallas Clark, who got by the Tennessee Titans defense for 94 receiving yards and 2 receiving tds. With this performance, Clark was the number 1 ranked tight end for week 8. They also got help from a 15 point effort from Mewelde Moore, who got by the New York Giants defense for 84 rushing yards and 1 rushing td in addition to 10 receiving yards.

“I take full responsibility for this loss,” Bad Attitudes coach Steve Spickenreuther said.

This brings the record for The Undergarments to 7-2, and drops Bad Attitudes to a record of 2-7.

Coming up in week 9, the 6-3 Elvis Impersonators are at The Undergarments, where The Undergarments are an early 3.2-point favorite, while Bad Attitudes are at the 3-6 Greasy Weasels, where Greasy Weasels are an early 21.9-point favorite.
