Vinny’s Gang were helped out in a losing cause by a 23.2 point effort from Adrian Peterson, who beat the Green Bay Packers defense for 131 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 41 receiving yards. With this performance, Peterson was the number 3 ranked running back for week 7. They also got help from a 11 point effort from the Tennessee Titans Defensive Team.
“The ball just didn’t bounce our way,” Vinny’s Gang coach Jon Steffan said.
Causing further embarrassment, Vinny’s Gang could have scored 109 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Jon Steffan left key players like Ryan Fitzpatrick and his corresponding 32 points on the bench.
Hot Buttered Moose Nuts took advantage of their schedule this week, as their point total would have gone for a loss against 10 out of 12 other potential opponents in week 7.
