Squishy Fuzz were led to their 26 point victory by a 24 point effort from Calvin Johnson, who beat the Green Bay Packers defense for 129 receiving yards and 2 receiving tds. With this performance, Johnson was the number 2 ranked wide receiver for week 2. They also got help from a 23 point effort from Marion Barber, who snuck past the Philadelphia Eagles defense for 63 rushing yards and 1 rushing td in addition to 51 receiving yards.
“We’ll use this win as a stepping stone to the next level,” Squishy Fuzz coach Scott Stanina said.
Vinny’s Gang were helped out in a losing cause by a 27 point effort from Aaron Rodgers, who beat the Detroit Lions defense for 328 passing yards and 3 passing tds in addition to 25 rushing yards. With this performance, Rodgers was the number 4 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 2. They also got help from a 18 point effort from Adrian Peterson, who beat the Indianapolis Colts defense for 160 rushing yards in addition to 20 receiving yards.
“These guys have nothing to be ashamed of,” Vinny’s Gang coach Jon Steffan said.
This brings the record for Squishy Fuzz to 2-0, and drops Vinny’s Gang to a record of 1-1.
