San Quentin Saints (68) at Z-Squad (68)

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources – Sep 22, 2008) In a week 3 UFFLE showdown, Z-Squad tied a tough San Quentin Saints team by a score of 68 to 68.

Z-Squad were helped out by a 22 point effort from Frank Gore, who beat the Detroit Lions defense for 130 rushing yards and 1 rushing td in addition to 32 receiving yards. With this performance, Gore was the number 5 ranked running back for week 3. They also got help from a 10 point effort from Matt Prater, who snuck past the New Orleans Saints defense for 2 field goals made and 4 extra points.

San Quentin Saints were helped out by a 20 point effort from Joseph Addai, who got by the Jacksonville Jaguars defense for 78 rushing yards and 2 rushing tds in addition to 10 receiving yards. They also got help from a 12 point effort from Donovan McNabb, who snuck past the Pittsburgh Steelers defense for 196 passing yards and 1 passing td.

Compounding the issue, San Quentin Saints could have scored 82 points and gotten the win with their best lineup, but Sean Boggess left key players like Jason Campbell and his corresponding 17 points on the bench.

This brings the record for Z-Squad to 2-0-2, and drops San Quentin Saints to a record of 3-0-1.

Coming up in week 4, Z-Squad are at the 1-3 Bad Attitudes, where Bad Attitudes are an early 28.8-point underdog, while the 1-3 Grid Iron Bullies are at San Quentin Saints, where San Quentin Saints are an early 13-point favorite.
