Vinny’s Gang (38) at San Quentin Saints (68)

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources – Oct 6, 2008) In a week 5 UFFLE matchup, San Quentin Saints embarrassed a hapless Vinny’s Gang team by a score of 68 to 38, extending the losing streak for Vinny’s Gang to 5 games.

San Quentin Saints were led to their 30 point victory by a 13 point effort from Joseph Addai, who snuck past the Houston Texans defense for 71 rushing yards and 1 rushing td in addition to 3 receiving yards. They also got help from a 10 point effort from the Jacksonville Jaguars Defensive Team.

“We finally got the monkey off our backs,” San Quentin Saints coach Sean Boggess said.

Vinny’s Gang were helped out in a losing cause by a 14 point effort from Chad Pennington, who got by the San Diego Chargers defense for 228 passing yards and 1 passing td in addition to 3 rushing yards. They also got help from a 7 point effort from Nick Folk, who snuck past the Cincinnati Bengals defense for 1 field goals made and 4 extra points.

“They’ve had our number all season,” Vinny’s Gang coach Jon Steffan said.

This brings the record for San Quentin Saints to 5-0-1, and drops Vinny’s Gang to a record of 1-5.

Coming up in week 6, Vinny’s Gang are at the 1-4-1 Hot Buttered Moose Nuts, where Hot Buttered Moose Nuts are an early 3.7-point favorite, while San Quentin Saints are at the 1-5 Bad Attitudes, where Bad Attitudes are an early 23.8-point underdog.
