The Undergarments were led to their 17 point victory by a 23 point effort from Dominic Rhodes, who snuck past the Green Bay Packers defense for 73 rushing yards and 2 rushing tds in addition to 41 receiving yards. With this performance, Rhodes was the number 6 ranked running back for week 7. They also got help from a 19 point effort from Matt Schaub, who got by the Detroit Lions defense for 267 passing yards and 2 passing tds in addition to 1 rushing yards.
“It wasn’t pretty but we’ll take it,” The Undergarments coach Eric Overgaard said.
Vinny’s Gang were helped out in a losing cause by a 24 point effort from Adrian Peterson, who beat the Chicago Bears defense for 121 rushing yards and 2 rushing tds in addition to 9 receiving yards. With this performance, Peterson was the number 4 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 7. They also got help from a 12 point effort from Aaron Rodgers, who snuck past the Indianapolis Colts defense for 186 passing yards and 1 passing td in addition to 8 rushing yards.
“You’ve got to hand it to them,” Vinny’s Gang coach Jon Steffan said.
This brings the record for The Undergarments to 6-2, and drops Vinny’s Gang to a record of 2-6.
Coming up in week 8, the 3-4-1 The Slim Shaggys are at Vinny’s Gang, where Vinny’s Gang are an early 9.9-point underdog, while the 2-6 Bad Attitudes are at The Undergarments, where The Undergarments are an early 22.8-point favorite.
