The Undergarments were led to their 26 point victory by a 23 point effort from Matt Schaub, who got by the Cincinnati Bengals defense for 280 passing yards and 3 passing tds. With this performance, Schaub was the number 6 ranked quarterback for week 8. They also got help from a 23 point effort from Roddy White, who beat the Philadelphia Eagles defense for 113 receiving yards and 2 receiving tds.
“We’re happy we could pull this one out at the end,” The Undergarments coach Eric Overgaard said.
Bad Attitudes were helped out in a losing cause by a 21 point effort from Dallas Clark, who got by the Tennessee Titans defense for 94 receiving yards and 2 receiving tds. With this performance, Clark was the number 1 ranked tight end for week 8. They also got help from a 15 point effort from Mewelde Moore, who got by the New York Giants defense for 84 rushing yards and 1 rushing td in addition to 10 receiving yards.
“I take full responsibility for this loss,” Bad Attitudes coach Steve Spickenreuther said.
This brings the record for The Undergarments to 7-2, and drops Bad Attitudes to a record of 2-7.
Coming up in week 9, the 6-3 Elvis Impersonators are at The Undergarments, where The Undergarments are an early 3.2-point favorite, while Bad Attitudes are at the 3-6 Greasy Weasels, where Greasy Weasels are an early 21.9-point favorite.
