With this performance, Gonzalez was the number 1 ranked tight end for week 10. They also got help from a 21 point effort from Philip Rivers, who beat the Kansas City Chiefs defense for 316 passing yards and 2 passing tds.
“It wasn’t pretty but we’ll take it,” Greasy Weasels coach Mason Mannie said.
Grid Iron Bullies were helped out in a losing cause by a 18 point effort from Matt Ryan, who got by the New Orleans Saints defense for 248 passing yards and 2 passing tds. They also got help from a 18 point effort from Ricky Williams, who beat the Seattle Seahawks defense for 105 rushing yards and 1 rushing td in addition to 21 receiving yards.
“This is a bitter pill to swallow,” Grid Iron Bullies coach Eric Bell said.
This brings the record for Greasy Weasels to 5-6, and drops Grid Iron Bullies to a record of 4-7.
