Hot Buttered Moose Nuts (65) at The Hellfish (73)

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources – Nov 10, 2008) In a week 10 UFFLE showdown, The Hellfish beat a strong Hot Buttered Moose Nuts team by a score of 73 to 65, extending the losing streak for Hot Buttered Moose Nuts to 5 games.

The Hellfish were led to their 8 point victory by a 18 point effort from Matt Forte, who snuck past the Tennessee Titans defense for 72 rushing yards in addition to 54 receiving yards. They also got help from a 13 point effort from the New York Jets Defensive Team.

“This team shows a lot of pride,” The Hellfish coach Wade Iverson said.

Hot Buttered Moose Nuts were helped out in a losing cause by a 16 point effort from Joe Flacco, who snuck past the Houston Texans defense for 185 passing yards and 2 passing tds in addition to 8 rushing yards. They also got help from a 16 point effort from Chester Taylor, who snuck past the Green Bay Packers defense for 29 rushing yards in addition to 84 receiving yards.

“I tip my hat to them,” Hot Buttered Moose Nuts coach Jeremy Griffith said.

Causing further embarrassment, Hot Buttered Moose Nuts could have scored 84 points and gotten the win with their best lineup, but Jeremy Griffith left key players like Todd Heap and his corresponding 17 points on the bench.

This brings the record for The Hellfish to 3-8, and drops Hot Buttered Moose Nuts to a record of 1-9-1.
