Squishy Fuzz were led to their 8 point victory by a 28 point effort from Drew Brees, who tore apart the Atlanta Falcons defense for 422 passing yards and 2 passing tds in addition to 10 rushing yards. With this performance, Brees was the number 3 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 10. They also got help from a 16 point effort from Dustin Keller, who beat the St. Louis Rams defense for 107 receiving yards and 1 receiving td.
“This win was no fluke,” Squishy Fuzz coach Scott Stanina said.
The Undergarments were helped out in a losing cause by a 17 point effort from Brady Quinn, who got by the Denver Broncos defense for 239 passing yards and 2 passing tds in addition to 3 rushing yards. They also got help from a 14 point effort from Jamal Lewis, who snuck past the Denver Broncos defense for 60 rushing yards and 1 rushing td in addition to 24 receiving yards.
“We came out flat,” The Undergarments coach Eric Overgaard said.
Causing further embarrassment, The Undergarments could have scored 94 points and gotten the win with their best lineup, but Eric Overgaard left key players like Sage Rosenfels and his corresponding 18 points on the bench.
This brings the record for Squishy Fuzz to 8-2-1, and drops The Undergarments to a record of 7-4.
