(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources – Nov 24, 2008) In a week 12 UFFLE rivalry, San Quentin Saints squeaked by a tough Twee Twerps team by a score of 72 to 70, silencing a partisan crowd of 72,355.

San Quentin Saints were led to their 2 point victory by a 17 point effort from Thomas Jones, who got by the Tennessee Titans defense for 96 rushing yards in addition to 21 receiving yards. They also got help from a 13 point effort from Marques Colston, who snuck past the Green Bay Packers defense for 70 receiving yards and 1 receiving td.

“Our fans were the 12th man today,” San Quentin Saints coach Sean Boggess said.

Twee Twerps were helped out in a losing cause by a 16 point effort from Steve Smith, who beat the Atlanta Falcons defense for 168 receiving yards. They also got help from a 14 point effort from Ryan Longwell, who snuck past the Jacksonville Jaguars defense for 3 field goals made and 3 extra points.

“There were too many defensive lapses,” Twee Twerps coach Bob Filipy said.

Compounding the issue, Twee Twerps could have scored 97 points and gotten the win with their best lineup, but Bob Filipy left key players like Leon Washington and his corresponding 20 points on the bench.

This brings the record for San Quentin Saints to 10-3-2, and drops Twee Twerps to a record of 10-4-1.

Coming up in week 13, the 4-10-1 Vinny’s Gang are at Twee Twerps, where Twee Twerps are an early 13.7-point favorite, while San Quentin Saints are at the 5-10 The Hellfish, where The Hellfish are an early 12.3-point underdog.
