Elvis Impersonators were led to their 36 point victory by a 35 point effort from Michael Turner, who beat the Carolina Panthers defense for 117 rushing yards and 4 rushing tds. With this performance, Turner was the number 2 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 12. They also got help from a 20 point effort from Kurt Warner, who tore apart the New York Giants defense for 351 passing yards and 1 passing td.
“This win is for all the fans,” Elvis Impersonators coach Brandon Mannie said.
Hot Buttered Moose Nuts were helped out in a losing cause by a 15 point effort from Joe Flacco, who snuck past the Philadelphia Eagles defense for 183 passing yards and 2 passing tds in addition to 3 rushing yards. They also got help from a 11 point effort from Dwayne Bowe, who snuck past the Buffalo Bills defense for 58 receiving yards and 1 receiving td.
“The best team won today,” Hot Buttered Moose Nuts coach Jeremy Griffith said.
This brings the record for Elvis Impersonators to 11-4, and drops Hot Buttered Moose Nuts to a record of 1-13-1.
Coming up in week 13, the 8-7 Greasy Weasels are at Elvis Impersonators, where Elvis Impersonators are an early 5.5-point favorite, while Hot Buttered Moose Nuts are at the 2-13 Bad Attitudes, where Bad Attitudes are an early 3.3-point favorite.
