(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources – Dec 23, 2019) In a week 16 UFFLE matchup, Elvis Impersonators squeaked by a tough Greasy Weasels team by a score of 101 to 97, extending the losing streak for Greasy Weasels to 3 games.
Elvis Impersonators were led to their 4 point victory by a 22 point effort from Ryan Tannehill, who got by the New Orleans Saints defense for 272 passing yards and 3 passing TDs in addition to 8 rushing yards. They also got help from a 19 point effort from Michael Thomas, who beat the Tennessee Titans defense for 136 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.
“We’re going to savor this victory,” Elvis Impersonators coach Brandon Mannie said.
Greasy Weasels were helped out in a losing cause by a 30 point effort from Lamar Jackson, who got by the Cleveland Browns defense for 238 passing yards and 3 passing TDs in addition to 103 rushing yards. With this performance, Jackson was the number 5 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 16. They also got help from a 16 point effort from DeAndre Washington, who got by the Los Angeles Chargers defense for 85 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 21 receiving yards.
“We had our chances but we let them slip away,” Greasy Weasels coach Mason Mannie said.
Causing further embarrassment, Greasy Weasels could have scored 103 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Mason Mannie left key players like Royce Freeman and his corresponding 8 points on the bench.
