(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources – Dec 21, 2021) In a week 15 UFFLE playoff clash, the 8-6 Greasy Weasels squeaked by a tough 8-6 Vinny’s Gang team by a score of 66.85 to 62.85, who have now lost 5 games in a row.
Greasy Weasels were led to their 4.00 point victory by a 23.00 point effort from Jonathan Taylor, who beat the New England Patriots defense for 170 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD. With this performance, Taylor was the number 2 ranked running back for week 15. They also got help from a 15.45 point effort from Ryan Tannehill, who snuck past the Pittsburgh Steelers defense for 153 passing yards in addition to 18 rushing yards.
“We proved we’re the better team,” Greasy Weasels coach Mason Mannie said.
Vinny’s Gang were helped out in a losing cause by a 13.85 point effort from Dak Prescott, who got by the New York Giants defense for 217 passing yards and 1 passing TD. They also got help from a 12.50 point effort from Sony Michel, who got by the Seattle Seahawks defense for 92 rushing yards in addition to 23 receiving yards.
“We can still hold our heads high,” Vinny’s Gang coach Jon Steffan said.
Causing further embarrassment, Vinny’s Gang could have scored 78.05 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Jon Steffan left key players like DeeJay Dallas and his corresponding 12.70 points on the bench.
Coming up in week 16, Greasy Weasels are at the 10-4 Elvis Impersonators, where Elvis Impersonators are an early 10.3-point underdog.
