(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources – Dec 27, 2021) In a week 16 UFFLE playoff showdown, the 10-4 Elvis Impersonators destroyed a tough 8-6 Greasy Weasels team by a score of 108.90 to 84.55, silencing a partisan crowd of 78,529 at The Grease Pit.
Elvis Impersonators were helped out by a 20.10 point effort from David Montgomery, who snuck past the Seattle Seahawks defense for 45 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 61 receiving yards. They also got help from a 19.00 point effort from the Dallas Cowboys Defensive Team.
“Everyone counted us out before the season started,” Elvis Impersonators coach Brandon Mannie said.
Greasy Weasels were helped out by a 18.00 point effort from Stefon Diggs, who got by the New England Patriots defense for 85 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD. They also got help from a 16.00 point effort from Ja’Marr Chase, who beat the Baltimore Ravens defense for 125 receiving yards.
“They own us,” Greasy Weasels coach Mason Mannie said.
Compounding the issue, Greasy Weasels could have scored 109.15 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Mason Mannie left key players like Rex Burkhead and his corresponding 27.90 points on the bench.
Coming up in week 17, the 8-6 The Lawn Wranglers are at Elvis Impersonators, where Elvis Impersonators are an early 17.4-point favorite.
