Elvis Impersonators were led to their 65 point victory by a 23 point effort from Kurt Warner, who beat the St. Louis Rams defense for 342 passing yards and 2 passing tds. With this performance, Warner was the number 2 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 9. They also got help from a 14 point effort from Ronnie Brown, who snuck past the Denver Broncos defense for 59 rushing yards and 1 rushing td in addition to 30 receiving yards.
“This team has overcome a lot of adversity,” Elvis Impersonators coach Brandon Mannie said.
The Undergarments were helped out in a losing cause by a 8 point effort from the Minnesota Vikings Defensive Team. They also got help from a 6 point effort from Matt Schaub, who snuck past the Minnesota Vikings defense for 139 passing yards.
“It’s been a great ride,” The Undergarments coach Eric Overgaard said.
This brings the record for Elvis Impersonators to 7-3, and drops The Undergarments to a record of 7-3.
Coming up in week 10, Elvis Impersonators are at the 6-2-2 San Quentin Saints, where San Quentin Saints are an early 14.6-point underdog, while The Undergarments are at the 7-2-1 Squishy Fuzz, where Squishy Fuzz are an early 7.8-point favorite.
