(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources – Oct 21, 2019) In a week 7 UFFLE intra-divisional showdown, Grid Iron Bullies squeaked by a tough Bad Attitudes team by a score of 75 to 72, behind the support of 74,391 faithful fans at THE LAND OF ASS KICKING STADIUM.
Grid Iron Bullies were led to their 3 point victory by a 20 point effort from Teddy Bridgewater, who got by the Chicago Bears defense for 281 passing yards and 2 passing TDs in addition to 7 rushing yards. They also got help from a 16 point effort from the Kansas City Chiefs Defensive Team.
“We managed to eke out a win,” Grid Iron Bullies coach Eric Bell said.
Bad Attitudes were helped out in a losing cause by a 24 point effort from Darren Waller, who beat the Green Bay Packers defense for 126 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs. With this performance, Waller was the number 1 ranked tight end for week 7. In addition, Waller entered the UFFLE Hall Of Fame with this performance as the 1st-ranked individual weekly player score in league history. They also got help from a 15 point effort from Tom Brady, who got by the New York Jets defense for 249 passing yards and 1 passing TD.
“They own us,” Bad Attitudes coach Steve Spickenreuther said.
Compounding the issue, Bad Attitudes could have scored 76 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Steve Spickenreuther left key players like Duke Johnson and his corresponding 5 points on the bench.
This brings the record for Grid Iron Bullies to 3-4, and drops Bad Attitudes to a record of 5-2.
Coming up in week 8, Grid Iron Bullies are at the 3-4 Hot Buttered Moose Nuts, where Hot Buttered Moose Nuts are an early 15.1-point favorite, while the 2-5 The Undergarments are at Bad Attitudes, where Bad Attitudes are an early 3.0-point underdog.
