Greasy Weasels were led to their 3 point victory by a 29 point effort from Lamar Jackson, who snuck past the New England Patriots defense for 163 passing yards and 1 passing TD in addition to 61 rushing yards. With this performance, Jackson was the number 3 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 9. They also got help from a 24 point effort from Mike Evans, who tore apart the Seattle Seahawks defense for 180 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.
“This was a good win for us,” Greasy Weasels coach Mason Mannie said.
Hot Buttered Moose Nuts were helped out in a losing cause by a 36 point effort from Russell Wilson, who tore apart the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense for 378 passing yards and 5 passing TDs in addition to 21 rushing yards. With this performance, Wilson was the number 1 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 9. In addition, Wilson entered the UFFLE Hall Of Fame with this performance as the 1st-ranked individual weekly player score in league history. They also got help from a 13 point effort from James White, who snuck past the Baltimore Ravens defense for 38 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 46 receiving yards.
“We can still hold our heads high,” Hot Buttered Moose Nuts coach Jeremy Griffith said.
This brings the record for Greasy Weasels to 8-1, and drops Hot Buttered Moose Nuts to a record of 4-5.
Coming up in week 10, the 3-6 Grid Iron Bullies are at Greasy Weasels, where Greasy Weasels are an early 36.5-point favorite, while the 6-3 Bad Attitudes are at Hot Buttered Moose Nuts, where Hot Buttered Moose Nuts are an early 21.4-point underdog.
