With this performance, Murray was the number 4 ranked quarterback for week 10. They also got help from a 23 point effort from Dalvin Cook, who got by the Dallas Cowboys defense for 97 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 86 receiving yards.
“We proved we’re the better team,” Elvis Impersonators coach Brandon Mannie said.
The Hellfish were helped out in a losing cause by a 18 point effort from Kirk Cousins, who got by the Dallas Cowboys defense for 220 passing yards and 2 passing TDs in addition to 5 rushing yards. They also got help from a 18 point effort from Melvin Gordon, who beat the Oakland Raiders defense for 108 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 25 receiving yards.
“They outplayed us in every phase of the game,” The Hellfish coach Wade Iverson said.
The Hellfish drew the short straw with their schedule this week, as their point total would have resulted in a win against 9 out of 10 other potential opponents in week 10.
This brings the record for Elvis Impersonators to 7-3, and drops The Hellfish to a record of 4-6.
