(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources – Nov 18, 2019) In a week 11 UFFLE battle, Bad Attitudes squeaked by a tough The Slim Shaggys team by a score of 71 to 68, extending the losing streak for The Slim Shaggys to 3 games.
Bad Attitudes were led to their 3 point victory by a 33 point effort from Jimmy Garoppolo, who tore apart the Arizona Cardinals defense for 424 passing yards and 4 passing TDs in addition to 7 rushing yards. With this performance, Garoppolo was the number 1 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 11. In addition, Garoppolo entered the UFFLE Hall Of Fame with this performance as the 1st-ranked individual weekly player score in league history. They also got help from a 9 point effort from Nick Chubb, who got by the Pittsburgh Steelers defense for 92 rushing yards.
“I’m really proud of the way our guys hung in there,” Bad Attitudes coach Steve Spickenreuther said.
The Slim Shaggys were helped out in a losing cause by a 17 point effort from Patrick Mahomes, who snuck past the Los Angeles Chargers defense for 182 passing yards and 1 passing TD in addition to 59 rushing yards. They also got help from a 16 point effort from Marvin Jones, who snuck past the Dallas Cowboys defense for 43 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs.
“It’s going to be a long plane ride home,” The Slim Shaggys coach Mark Olson said.
Adding salt to the wound, The Slim Shaggys could have scored 81 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Mark Olson left key players like Philip Rivers and his corresponding 21 points on the bench.
This brings the record for Bad Attitudes to 8-3, and drops The Slim Shaggys to a record of 6-5.
Coming up in week 12, Bad Attitudes are at the 9-2 Greasy Weasels, where Greasy Weasels are an early 1-point favorite, while the 5-6 October Hunters are at The Slim Shaggys, where The Slim Shaggys are an early 1.7-point favorite.
