(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources – Oct 13, 2020) In a week 5 UFFLE intra-divisional rivalry, the 4-1 Pickled Harrons squeaked by a tough 3-2 Squishy Fuzz team by a score of 84 to 80, silencing a partisan crowd of 66,292.
Pickled Harrons were led to their 4 point victory by a 31 point effort from Kyler Murray, who tore apart the New York Jets defense for 380 passing yards and 1 passing TD in addition to 31 rushing yards. With this performance, Murray was the number 3 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 5. They also got help from a 14 point effort from Dalvin Cook, who snuck past the Seattle Seahawks defense for 65 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 24 receiving yards.
“This team has overcome a lot of adversity,” Pickled Harrons coach Cooper Harron said.
Squishy Fuzz were helped out in a losing cause by a 28 point effort from Deshaun Watson, who tore apart the Jacksonville Jaguars defense for 359 passing yards and 3 passing TDs in addition to 25 rushing yards. With this performance, Watson was the number 5 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 5. They also got help from a 16 point effort from Jonnu Smith, who snuck past the Buffalo Bills defense for 40 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs.
“They just made the big plays and we didn’t,” Squishy Fuzz coach Scott Stanina said.
Causing further embarrassment, Squishy Fuzz could have scored 93 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Scott Stanina left key players like Keelan Cole and his corresponding 8 points on the bench.
This brings the record for Pickled Harrons to 4-1, and drops Squishy Fuzz to a record of 3-2.
Coming up in week 6, the 1-4 Bad Attitudes are at Pickled Harrons, where Pickled Harron’s are an early 17-point favorite, while the 2-3 Grid Iron Bullies are at Squishy Fuzz, where Squishy Fuzz are an early 29-point favorite.
