(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources – Nov 16, 2020) In a week 10 UFFLE intra-divisional battle, the 4-6 Grid Iron Bullies beat a mediocre 5-5 Greasy Weasels team by a score of 62 to 57, silencing a partisan crowd of 66,483 at The Grease Pit.
Grid Iron Bullies were led to their 5 point victory by a 16 point effort from Adam Thielen, who snuck past the Chicago Bears defense for 43 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs. They also got help from a 14 point effort from Chris Boswell, who beat the Cincinnati Bengals defense for 3 field goals made and 3 extra points.
“This was a confidence booster,” Grid Iron Bullies coach Eric Bell said.
Greasy Weasels were helped out in a losing cause by a 23 point effort from Lamar Jackson, who got by the New England Patriots defense for 249 passing yards and 2 passing TDs in addition to 55 rushing yards. They also got help from a 11 point effort from Miles Sanders, who got by the New York Giants defense for 85 rushing yards in addition to 10 receiving yards.
“The final score is the only statistic that matters,” Greasy Weasels coach Mason Mannie said.
Causing further embarrassment, Greasy Weasels could have scored 72 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Mason Mannie left key players like Ben Roethlisberger and his corresponding 28 points on the bench.
Grid Iron Bullies took advantage of their schedule this week, as their point total would have gone for a loss against 7 out of 10 other potential opponents in week 10.
This brings the record for Grid Iron Bullies to 4-6, and drops Greasy Weasels to a record of 5-5.
Coming up in week 11, Greasy Weasels are at the 6-4 Vinny’s Gang, where Vinny’s Gang are an early 11-point favorite, while Grid Iron Bullies are at the 2-8 October Hunters, where October Hunters are an early 10.0-point underdog.
