The Hellfish were led to their 1 point victory by a 33 point effort from Aaron Rodgers, who beat the Chicago Bears defense for 315 passing yards and 6 passing TDs. With this performance, Rodgers was the number 2 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 10. They also got help from a 15 point effort from Steven Jackson, who got by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense for 81 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 14 receiving yards.
“This team shows a lot of heart,” The Hellfish coach Wade Iverson said.
October Hunter were helped out in a losing cause by a 24 point effort from Russell Wilson, who snuck past the New York Giants defense for 172 passing yards in addition to 107 rushing yards. With this performance, Wilson was the number 4 ranked quarterback for week 10. They also got help from a 21 point effort from the Arizona Cardinals Defensive Team.
“We got a wake-up call,” October Hunter coach Orion Bell said.
Compounding the issue, October Hunter could have scored 95 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Orion Bell left key players like Benny Cunningham and his corresponding 8 points on the bench.
This brings the record for The Hellfish to 7-3, and drops October Hunter to a record of 2-8.
